The director's cut strips out the curators commentary to offer a more true gallery experience of the work. It also includes extra exhibition views of the completed work, 'Composition for 37 Flutes', which created a cacophony of sound via an extensive air-pumping sculpture, referencing the Hepworth's own heating systems, which are part-powered & regulated by harnessing energy from the river in which the gallery sits.
